Dur-A-Flex, Inc. will kick off its annual week at World of Concrete 2017 in Las Vegas, Nevada in January. As usual, Dur-A-Flex intends to make its mark with its latest innovations in resinous technology, specifically rolling out two new products to add to their game-changing, Accelera® Fast-Track Flooring family of products.
“World of Concrete is the place to meet potential customers and strengthen relationships with those that we’ve worked with for decades,” says Peter V. Ferris, President and Chief Operating Officer for Dur-A-Flex, Inc. “We’re thrilled to be bringing, not one but two, new Accelera products to Las Vegas to showcase to the installer community. We challenged our R&D team to engineer the next big innovation for the industry and are proud they met our challenge head-on and produced two more Accelera products that will further help our customers provide cutting-edge flooring solutions for the nonstop facilities that need them.”
On display at Dur-A-Flex’s indoor booth # S-10739, located within South Hall, will be features on six of Dur-A-Flex’s most popular offerings. Highlighted will be heavy-duty floor systems, the Applicator Training Program (ATP), decorative floor systems, Accelera Fast-Track flooring, wall systems, and the Dur-A-Flex Difference. Each pillar around Dur-A-Flex’s modern, circular booth represents an attribute that will help customers grow their business and increase their offerings to their customers.
Dur-A-Flex’s outdoor booth #O-40754, is located outside of South Hall in the Silver Lot. Each day members of Dur-A-Flex’s Technical Services team will be doing demonstrations of Accelera Fast-Track Flooring as well as Dur-A-Flex’s superior wall coating system, Dur-A-Wall HP. The Technical Service team will also be demonstrating the two new Accelera products to the installer community for the very first time!
World of Concrete 2016 kicks off in Las Vegas on January 17th and expects to see a record turnout. Stop by either of Dur-A-Flex’s booth (inside or outside) to speak with the Sales Team about Dur-A-Flex’s latest innovations in floor and wall coatings!
Dur-A-Flex, Inc. has expanded its Accelera Fast-Track Flooring family of fast-curing, low-odor products with the introduction of Accelera EXT. This unique formulation offers all the benefits of the popular Accelera product line with the added benefit of an extended working time. With a working time of up to 50% more than the standard formulation, maintaining a longer wet-edge during the installation now makes large square footage projects feasible without added manpower.
The fast pace of any fast-cure installation often requires contractors to have a larger workforce on hand. Busy schedules and expensive labor costs can make this a major challenge to business owners. The increased working time of Accelera EXT now gives applicators more time to pour, spread, roll and broadcast – reducing the amount of hands needed on a large square footage project. Like all Accelera products, Accelera EXT is supplied in pre-measured mix-in-pail kits consisting of a resin and hardener. For pigmenting, pre-measured color packs are available in 12 standard colors.
“With Accelera becoming the go-to product for contractors with tight project schedules, most want to consider this technology for large-scale applications as well,” says Kyle Smith, Dur-A-Flex Technical Director. “Having a product with quick cure, low odor and longer working-time, resulting in a floor they are proud to have their name on, is “win/win,” he adds.
Fast-cure flooring technologies are nothing new; however, historically temperature and humidity variations have greatly affected working times. To counter this, contractors have often turned to the addition of solvents (and their inherent VOC count) to increase working time. Accelera’s unique formulation combats all of these issues by providing a stable working time, in a variety of environmental conditions without the use of solvents. Quick cure and low odor now allow resinous floor installations during business hours and Accelera EXT expands that to larger projects– grocery stores, manufacturing facilities and schools are just a few of the applications now within reach.
