Dur-A-Flex Announces New Contractor Partner in Nigeria

Dur-A-Flex, Inc., a leading manufacturer of commercial, industrial and institutional seamless flooring, today announced its newest partner, Tapeema Nigeria Limited of Aduwawa Benin City, Nigeria. Tapeema is the exclusive distributor and contractor for the supply and installation of Dur-A-Flex’s systems in Nigeria and Western Africa.

The news comes on the heels of Korean and Vietnamese partnerships that were recently announced by Dur-A-Flex. The partnerships reflect Dur-A-Flex’s expanding global presence and the increasing accessibility of its high quality and innovative product line by foreign markets.

Dur-A-Flex Appoints Sales and Technical Support Representative in Mexico

Dur-A-Flex, Inc., a leading manufacturer of commercial, industrial and institutional seamless, resinous flooring, has named Héctor Melo Goytortúa as its Independent Sales and Technical Support Representative for Mexico.

Melo’s focus will be on expanding Dur-A-Flex’s Mexican flooring contractor base, networking with facility owners to generate project opportunities, supporting Marketing initiatives for increased branding and delivering exceptional customer service.

“Dur-A-Flex’s growth within the Mexican market emphasized the need to have a strong, local presence to meet product demand and deliver the same high level of customer service we provide our national base,” says Peter V. Ferris, President and Chief Operating Officer. “We are very happy to add Mexico to our sales and service commitments.

Melo’s appointment to Mexico comes on the heels of Dur-A-Flex’s recently formed partnerships with Korean distributor, IL DO Trading Co., Ltd, of Seoul, and Hiep Hiep Phat Trading Co. Ltd. of Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam bringing the number of continents that Dur-A-Flex is doing business with to six.

Melo has close to 20 years of industrial experience in floor coatings including epoxy and urethane chemistries and has held leadership roles in technical sales and marketing. Melo most recently served as General Manager for Key Quimica S.A. de CV in Monterrey, Mexico.

A Nuevo León, Mexico resident, Melo earned degrees in Business Administration from the Instituto de Superior de Estudios Comerciales, Mexico City, Political Science from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de Mèxico, Mexico City and Marketing Administration from the Instituto Tecnologico de Estudios Superiores, Monterrey, Mexico.
